The Role
This is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for assisting with accounts functions while also supporting the wider team with general administration duties. This is a busy, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety and taking ownership of their work.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an accounts administration role.
- Strong accounts knowledge (AP, AR, reconciliations, invoicing).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Confident using accounting systems and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Professional, reliable and able to deal with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in a professional services business would be a distinct advantage (i.e. Accountancy firm, law firm, insurance firm).
- Must hold rights to work in NZ.
- General accounts duties
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Processing invoices and payments
- Assisting with month-end processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- General administration support across the business
- Customer and supplier communication
- Salary of up to $65k per annum
