We are seeking an experienced leader with extensive knowledge of manufacturing and are happy to consider people from a variety of different industries.
The Role
- Overseeing production ensuring production schedules are met
- Production planning, scheduling & coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Ensuring QA standards are adhered to
- Leading a small team of Machine Operators and Drivers
- Logistics Management
- Identifying and mitigating issues
- Dealing with customers
- Assisting with recruitment
- Training staff and implementing training programs
- Driving efficiencies
- Managing Health & Safety
- Exceptional leadership skills
- A solid background in manufacturing
- Previous experience in a leadership role
- Extensive experience of lean manufacturing
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Experience with Forklifts and Gantry Cranes would be a distinct advantage
- Great problem-solving skills
- Must pass drug & alcohol testing.
- Must be presentable and be able to deal with customers.
- Must hold rights to work in NZ.
