The Role
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (No Weekends or Nights)
Duties
- Leading and managing day-to-day production operations
- Supervising and developing production staff to drive performance and engagement
- Ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are met
- Overseeing food safety, QA, and compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Maintaining and enforcing GMP standards across the site
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across processes and systems
- Managing production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimisation
- Monitoring KPIs, reporting on performance, and implementing improvements
- Ensuring a strong Health & Safety culture is embedded across the team
- Working closely with senior leadership on operational strategy and growth
What we are looking for
- 5+ years’ experience in a Production Manager or senior supervisory role within food manufacturing
- Strong leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced production environment
- Solid understanding of food safety standards, QA systems, and GMP
- Experience of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Confident using systems and reporting tools (ERP or similar advantageous)
- A hands-on approach with the ability to lead from the front
- A strong knowledge of SQF certification would be a distinct advantage
- Must pass Drug & Alcohol testing
