Our client a well-established Chartered Accountancy Firm based in Te Puke is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their team.

The Role

This is a full-time permanent position Mon-Fri – (We may be able to offer some flexibility for the right candidate)

Duties
  • Working with a range of SMEs with assistance from the wider team
  • Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for a variety of clients including but not limited to businesses, trusts and individuals
  • Compliance for GST, FBT and PAYE
What we are looking for
  • 3-5 Years experience in a Public Practice
  • Competent with Xero and Xero Workpapers
  • Strong Knowledge of NZ Income Tax and GST Compliance
  • Excellent Commercial Acumen
  • Strong IT Skills
  • Must be presentable and be able to deal with clients.
  • Progress towards CA qualification
  • Experience with rural clients would be a distinct advantage
  • Must hold rights to work in NZ.
