Our client is seeking a commercially astute Asset & Infrastructure Manager to join their bid team as they tender for a significant government-funded infrastructure and services contract in the Pacific Islands.

The Role

This is a full-time position. Ideally you will be based in Brisbane or Melbourne, however remote working will be considered for the right candidate. You will play a critical role in the development of the tender and, if successful, the mobilisation and delivery of asset and infrastructure operation.
  • Contribute to tender development and bid submissions, including asset strategies, infrastructure planning, mobilisation programmes, risk management and compliance
  • Developing asset management frameworks, lifecycle plans, maintenance strategies, and capital works programmes aligned to contract requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with government contract obligations, health & safety standards, environmental requirements, and reporting frameworks
  • Providing strategic advice to the bid team on infrastructure delivery, logistics, regional operating environments, and operational risk
  • Supporting transition planning from bid phase to mobilisation and service delivery
 What we are looking for
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience working in complex, contract-driven environments
  • Proven experience managing assets and infrastructure within large-scale programmes, ideally in remote, regional, or international settings
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to or leading successful tender bids for large or complex service or infrastructure contracts
  • Solid understanding of asset lifecycle management, compliance, risk, and performance frameworks
  • Experience working in the Pacific Islands or comparable regions highly regarded
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, suppliers, and performance metrics
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation skills
  • High level of cultural awareness and ability to work effectively with diverse communities and partners
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Must hold rights to work in Australia
What’s on offer.

  • Work for a collaborative organisation with a strong culture and a genuine commitment to delivering positive, long-term outcomes
