We are open to candidates either Full Time (40 Hours) or Part time (30 hours per week)
- This is a varied hands-on role as part of a small finance team
- Payroll Processing for employees and contractors including IRD returns
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Month end accounting procedures to trial balance stage
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Assistance with year-end financial reporting
- Foreign currency management
- General office administration as required i.e. vehicle compliance, stationary supplies and general administration
- GST & FBT return preparation
What we are looking for
- New Zealand Accounting Technician qualification or higher
- Proficient in financial software including Xero & Crystal Payroll
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Ability to prepare and present financial reports
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Must have strong IT skills in particular excel.
