Typical responsibilities include:
- Preparing cost estimates, budgets and tender submissions
- Contract administration and procurement
- Measuring and pricing variations
- Cost planning, forecasting and financial reporting
- Managing project budgets and cash flow
- Subcontractor procurement and payment claims
- Preparing progress claims and final accounts
- Working closely with project managers, clients and subcontractors
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within commercial construction
- Experience preparing estimates, budgets and cost reports
- Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification (preferred)
- The legal right to work in New Zealand
