The Role
Based onsite in Tauranga this role this responsible for maintaining and optimising critical pump and fluid handling systems.
Duties include
- Preventative and reactive maintenance on pumps, motors, and rotating equipment
- Fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical and electrical systems
- Servicing of pump systems and associated equipment
- Troubleshooting issues related to flow, pressure, seals, bearings, and alignment
- Supporting upgrades, refurbishments, and system improvements
- Maintenance Engineer / Fitter / Technician with strong pump experience
- Background in rotating equipment, fluid systems, or mechanical maintenance
- Experience with:
- Centrifugal and positive displacement pumps
- Mechanical seals, bearings, and alignment
- Industrial or municipal water/wastewater systems (highly regarded)
- Good understanding of mechanical systems
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must hold full working rights in New Zealand
