The Opportunity
Our client is an established multidisciplinary land development consultancy providing surveying, planning and civil engineering services.
The Role
You will manage cadastral surveying projects from initial investigation through to completion, working closely with clients, planners, civil engineers, councils and other consultants.
- Undertake and manage cadastral surveys including subdivisions, boundary re-establishments and title work.
- Prepare and certify cadastral survey datasets and associated documentation.
- Manage surveying projects from initial fieldwork through to final approvals.
- Provide technical advice on cadastral, boundary and land development matters.
- Liaise with LINZ, councils, clients, developers and other professional consultants.
- Work collaboratively with planners and civil engineers on multidisciplinary land development projects.
- Review survey information and ensure work meets current New Zealand cadastral standards and requirements.
- Mentor and provide technical support to graduate and intermediate surveyors where required.
What We're Looking For
- Current Licensed Cadastral Surveyor (LCS) status in New Zealand.
- Strong experience in cadastral surveying and land development.
- Sound knowledge of New Zealand cadastral survey requirements and processes.
- Experience with subdivisions, boundary definition and land title work.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- Ability to manage projects, priorities and deadlines effectively.
- A practical and commercially focused approach to surveying and land development.
