Typical responsibilities include:
- Providing day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees
- Managing employee relations and performance management processes
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and induction activities
- Assisting with employment agreements, policies and HR documentation
- Advising on New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practice
- Supporting disciplinary, grievance and investigation processes
- Coordinating learning and development initiatives
- Contributing to HR projects, culture and engagement initiatives
- Previous experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar Human Resources role
- Sound knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A relevant Human Resources qualification (preferred)
