Our client a heavy equipment and machinery solutions are looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic.
The Role
This is a hands-on role offering variety, stability, and the opportunity to work on a diverse fleet of construction and earthmoving equipment. You'll join a close-knit team that values quality workmanship, safety, and a practical approach to getting the job done.
Duties Include:
- Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Complete breakdown repairs and troubleshooting as required
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements
What We Are Looking For
- A trade qualification in Heavy Diesel, Plant, Agricultural, or Automotive Engineering
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing heavy machinery or mobile plant equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A current full driver's licence (HT licence advantageous)
