​Originally from New Zealand, Josh spent over 20 years living and working in the United States, mainly in San Diego, before returning home. He brings a genuinely international perspective to recruitment, with experience across both the US and New Zealand markets.

Josh started his career as a Technical Recruiter and has since built over 20 years’ experience working across a wide range of industries. These include Engineering, Supply Chain & Logistics, Manufacturing, IT, Biotechnology, Aerospace, Civil Engineering & Construction, HR, Sales & Marketing, Administration, and Executive roles. He’s known for being someone who delivers whether that’s a hard-to-fill role or scaling teams for larger projects.

He’s worked across the full recruitment lifecycle, from high-volume project hiring through to headhunting passive candidates that others can’t reach. Josh takes a straightforward, relationship-focused approach taking the time to really understand what clients need and what candidates are looking for, which leads to better long-term outcomes for both.

With experience across both recruitment and business development, Josh has a strong understanding of how businesses actually operate and what makes teams successful.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find Josh in the water surfing, out on the trails mountain biking, or getting in a round of golf or tennis
